LIV Golf prize money

Jon Rahm has been paid $97,575,125 by LIV, which is 52.0% of a career worth $187,818,329 and more than all but a handful of golfers have earned from everything, ever. Team money counts here because it is paid to the player.

In 2026 a LIV player averaged $5,797,791 and everybody else being paid that season averaged $1,460,735, a ratio of 4.0 to one.

The bars barely move, which is itself the finding. LIV's share of golf has sat within a couple of points of thirty per cent in every season it has run, so the split the sport argues about is not widening or closing, it has simply been there since 2021-22.

Five seasons of LIV out-pay forty-seven years of the four majors on this site, and out-pay every bonus pool golf has ever run. Nothing else on the chart was built in half a decade.

Scott Vincent is the extreme: 99.6% of $15,207,105 came from LIV. These are the careers that read differently depending on which seasons you look at, and there are 35 of them where LIV is more than half of everything the player has ever been paid.

United States holds $540,966,244 of it across 20 players. Smaller golfing countries are over-represented against their share of the sport as a whole, which is what a closed roster of fifty does to a distribution: one signing is worth more to a country's total than a decade of tour cards.
