Men's and women's table tennis prize money
The women's singles and doubles draws on the WTT tour have been paid $20,483,499 since 2022 and the men's $20,446,774. At all 169 events that crowned a champion in both singles draws, the two champions took the same cheque.
One ladder, two draws
Why a men's and a women's champion are paid the same
182 of the 183 prize ladders the tour has published print a single Singles table, and both draws are paid off it. The men's and the women's champion at the same event are paid from the same line, so the cheque cannot differ, and at every one of the 169 events that paid both it did not.
The one ladder that splits them is WTT Feeder Fort Lauderdale 2022, and it pays the women more at all 6 rounds both draws reached. The men's ladder runs down to the last 64 and the women's to the last 48.

The same ladder does not make the same total. At 57 of the events that paid both fields the two were paid different amounts, and at 34 of those the singles draws paid a different number of players. Two events were held for one field only. The women were paid more in 2026, 2023 and 2022, the men in 2025 and 2024.
The two held for one field only were the 2023 season-ending finals: the women's in Nagoya in December 2023 and the men's in Doha in January 2024. Each paid its field $323,000, so 2023 carries a women's finals with no men's and 2024 a men's finals on top of its own. Set that pair aside and the two fields were paid within $5,860 of each other in both years.
The doubles came to $1,600,184 for the men's pairs and $1,589,649 for the women's. Mixed doubles, which pays a man and a woman from one rung, came to $739,983 and sits in neither column.
