Global Champions Tour prize money, 2026

The league and the three Playoff team rounds come to €21,550,000, which is 90.2% of the fixed money. The individual Grand Prix is what the tour is known for, and it is not where most of the money is. Each one pays at least €308,600, and each event sets its own pot above that.

The two biggest cheques on the tour are both paid to teams. The largest a rider collects alone is €300,000 for the Super Grand Prix, 2.9 times what a Grand Prix winner takes at the floor.

The top three take 68% of the pot between them, €209,848 at the floor, and 12th takes €3,086. Where more than twelve riders reach the jump-off, everybody placed 13th or lower is paid €1,500.

Ranking points run from 40 for a win down to 1 for 36th, and they are what the tour ranking below is decided on. Only a rider's best half of the season's events counts, so a rider who misses several stops is not ruled out.

The rider top of the ranking takes €294,500, 31% of the fund and nearly three Grand Prix wins at the floor. The top three must be at the last event of the season to collect it.

A place in it is earned by winning a Grand Prix, one starter per Grand Prix and at most 19. It pays 15 places, €300,000 down to €12,500, over two rounds with no jump-off. Where a Grand Prix had joint winners both are invited, and each starter beyond one per Grand Prix is paid €10,000.

€8,500,000 is paid on where a team finishes the regular season: €2,000,000 to the top team, €100,000 to 17th, and nothing to the last three.

The other €3,200,000 is paid on points. Every event carries the same slice of it and the same 247 points, so however many events the season runs, a team that won every round would take €388,664, one that finished 10th every time €155,466, and one that finished last every time €25,911.

All of it is paid to the team at the end of the season, and the team decides how it is shared. The money a rider collects personally at a league event comes from the two team competitions there, which pay each rider on their own placing.

The four teams top of the standings go straight to the semi-final. The other twelve start in the quarter-final, where the top eight go through and the rest go home with €90,000 or less. The best six of the semi-final's twelve reach the final, and 6th in the final is still worth €300,000.

The seeding saves a round and gives up the quarter-final's money. A team that comes through the quarter-final and wins everything takes €2,920,000, against €2,750,000 for a seeded team that wins the semi-final and final. A seeded team is guaranteed €130,000, where a team knocked out of the quarter-final in 12th leaves with €70,000. Three individual classes run alongside, paying €40,000, €50,000 and €60,000.
