Auckland Darts Masters prize money

The PDC has paid £120k across the two editions of the Auckland Darts Masters we hold, from 2017 to 2018. The 2018 pot was £60,000 between sixteen players, the World Series leg in Auckland, eight invited PDC players drawn against eight Oceanic qualifiers, and Michael van Gerwen took £20,000 of it.

A darts player is paid once, for where the run ended, so every pound of a pot lands on exactly one player and the two pots below add up to the £120,000 the field has shared. Kyle Anderson has taken more out of the Auckland Darts Masters than anyone else: £22,500 from two appearances. Both were played at The Trusts Arena, Auckland.

What each finishing place pays

The five bands at the 2018 Auckland Darts Masters

The Trusts Arena, Auckland
Winner £20,000 One player, beat Raymond van Barneveld in the final
Runner-up £10,000 One player, lost the final to Michael van Gerwen
Semi-finalists £5,000 Two players, lost in the semi-finals
Quarter-finalists £2,500 Four players, lost in the quarter-finals
Last 16 £1,250 Eight players, lost the first match

Nothing here stacks. A player who lost in the semi-finals collected £5,000 and not that plus every band beneath it, which is why the five bands come to £60,000 rather than to the £38,750 a ladder reading would put on the champion alone. The 2018 rate card has the players in each band and what the band paid out.
