DARTS · 2015 TO 2025

German Darts Championship prize money

The PDC has paid £1.3m across the nine editions of the German Darts Championship we hold, from 2015 to 2025. The 2025 pot was £175,000 between 48 players, the European Tour weekend at Halle 39 in Hildesheim, and Nathan Aspinall took £30,000 of it.

A darts player is paid once, for where the run ended, so every pound of a pot lands on exactly one player and the nine pots below add up to the £1,305,000 the field has shared. Peter Wright has taken more out of the German Darts Championship than anyone else: £85,000 from eight appearances. Every one of the nine was played at Halle 39, Hildesheim.

The pot, season by season

season running total

The prize fund has gone from £115,000 in 2015 to £175,000 in 2025, which is £60,000 more and 52% up. Winning it has moved with it, from £25,000 to £30,000, and the champion's share of the pot has gone from 22% to 17%. The dimmer column behind each season is the running total, which reaches £1,305,000.

What each finishing place pays

The seven bands at the 2025 German Darts Championship

Halle 39, Hildesheim
Winner £30,000 One player, beat Dirk van Duijvenbode in the final
Runner-up £12,000 One player, lost the final to Nathan Aspinall
Semi-finalists £8,500 Two players, lost in the semi-finals
Quarter-finalists £6,000 Four players, lost in the quarter-finals
Last 16 £4,000 Eight players, lost in the round of 16
Last 32 £2,500 Sixteen players, lost in the round of 32
Last 48 £1,250 Sixteen players, lost the first match

Nothing here stacks. A player who lost in the semi-finals collected £8,500 and not that plus every band beneath it, which is why the seven bands come to £175,000 rather than to the £64,250 a ladder reading would put on the champion alone. The 2025 rate card has the players in each band and what the band paid out.
