German Darts Masters prize money

The PDC has paid £180k across the three editions of the German Darts Masters we hold, from 2017 to 2019. The 2019 pot was £60,000 between sixteen players, the World Series leg in Germany, eight invited PDC players drawn against eight German qualifiers, and Peter Wright took £20,000 of it.

A darts player is paid once, for where the run ended, so every pound of a pot lands on exactly one player and the three pots below add up to the £180,000 the field has shared. Peter Wright has taken more out of the German Darts Masters than anyone else: £45,000 from three appearances.

What each finishing place pays

The five bands at the 2019 German Darts Masters

LANXESS arena, Cologne
Winner £20,000 One player, beat Gabriel Clemens in the final
Runner-up £10,000 One player, lost the final to Peter Wright
Semi-finalists £5,000 Two players, lost in the semi-finals
Quarter-finalists £2,500 Four players, lost in the quarter-finals
Last 16 £1,250 Eight players, lost the first match

Nothing here stacks. A player who lost in the semi-finals collected £5,000 and not that plus every band beneath it, which is why the five bands come to £60,000 rather than to the £38,750 a ladder reading would put on the champion alone. The 2019 rate card has the players in each band and what the band paid out.
