Roland Garros paid out of a €61,723,000 fund in 2026, up 9.5 per cent. The singles champions took €2,800,000 each - the smallest winner cheque of the four majors - while the opening round paid €87,000.
A player is paid once, for the round they went out in. The figure is the whole of it rather than a step on the way to it, so somebody who lost in the last eight took €470,000 and not that plus every round beneath it.
